Go to Ivy Bank’s website. On the very first page, locate the “Savings” option at the top of the page and click on it.

The next page will display information about the account. Scan the page to find the “Apply for an Account” button. Once you have found it, click on it.

This will take you to the application page. There you must enter your first and last name, along with your email address and phone number.

You may at this point select the option to make it a joint account. Once you have filled in the information, click on “continue”.

The website will then email you a code, which you must then enter back in the website. After entering the code, click on “continue”.

Then, on the next page, enter your street address, city, state and ZIP Code. After that, click on “continue”.

Now you must enter your date of birth, Social Security Number and occupation. You must also check the box to certify that the Social Security number provided is correct.

By checking the box you also certify that you are not subject to backup withholding due to failure to report interest and dividend income.

You also confirm that you are a U.S. person, including a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien. After checking the box, click on “continue”.

On the next page you will connect an account to your Ivy Bank High-Yield Savings account so that you can fund it. You may opt for a Bank login or adding your account manually.

Click on your preferred option, enter the information the website requires, and hit “save”. Then, enter your funding amount and click on “continue”.

Once you have done that, the website will show you your information so that you can check that everything is correct. If it is, hit “submit” and you are done!
