Nedbank Platinum Credit Card: how does it work?
The Nedbank Platinum credit card is a mid-tier credit card that offers travel, lifestyle, and entertainment benefits. Plus, it offers access to the Nedbank Greenbacks rewards program.
Cardholders get travel insurance of up to R3 million and 12 complimentary Bidvest premier club domestic airport lounges per year.
Discounts are available on car hire and accommodation, as well as NuMetro movie tickets. The card has a monthly maintenance fee of R64.00, and a monthly credit facility service fee of R32.00. It also has a monthly Greenbacks linkage fee of R27.00.
A one-time initiation fee of R180.00 is charged, and a minimum repayment of 5% is required each month.
The monthly gross income requirement of R29,000.00 is reasonable for a mid-tier credit card. There is also no interest on the card for the first 55 days.
However, membership in the Greenbacks rewards program costs R27.00 per month, and there is no dedicated private service.
