U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa Signature® Card: how does it work?

The U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card is a no-annual-fee rewards credit card. It offers a high rewards rate for dining purchases, making it a good choice for foodies.

You can earn 4 points per $1 spent on dining, including takeout and delivery. Also, you can earn 2 points per $1 spent at grocery stores, gas stations, EV charging stations, and eligible streaming services.

There is also a new cardholder bonus offer of 20,000 bonus points when spending $1,000 in eligible purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

The card offers a 0% intro APR for 12 billing cycles on purchases and balance transfers. Also, the APR is variable, ranging from 19.49% to 28.49% after that.

Other benefits include a $15 annual credit for eligible streaming services purchases and no annual fee. Plus, no foreign transaction fee, and Visa Signature benefits.

One of the card’s standout features is its excellent rewards rate on restaurant purchases. It is unmatched by other cards with a $0 annual fee.

However, the card does not earn bonus rewards on entertainment spending. This may be a disadvantage for those who frequently enjoy nights out.

Additionally, those who cook at home more than they dine out may find better options for their budget.

This card is an excellent choice for those who want a no-annual-fee card with a high rewards rate on dining purchases.

It also offers solid earnings in other categories, as well as a new cardholder bonus offer and a 0% intro APR period.

The lack of an annual fee and foreign transaction fee make it a good option for frequent travelers.

However, those who value bonus rewards on entertainment spending may want to consider other options.
