Learn how to get your Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card online

Without further ado, let’s dive right into the application process. Make sure you have your personal info and documents at hand, and let’s get started.

On Bank of America’s website, scroll down and locate the “credit cards” option and tap it. This will take you to another page where you will see the options “featured”, “cash back”, and “travel rewards”.

Next to these options, you will see a sideways-pointing arrow. Scroll sideways over these options until you find the “cards for students” option. Once you have found it, tap it.

Scroll down until you find the Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card.

Then, right below its details tap the “Apply Now” button to start the application process.

Applying from your desktop computer

On Bank of America’s main page, locate the “Credit Cards” option at the top left third of the page. It is located right between “Savings” and “Home Loans”. Once you have found it, click on it.

This will reveal a dropdown menu where you must click on the “Travel and Airlines Rewards Cards”.

Now, scroll down until you find the Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card.

Then, click the “Apply Now” button next to the offer to start the application process.

Continuing with the Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card application

Enter your first and last name, along with your residential address.

Then enter your phone number (mobile or home phone) and your email address. Hit “save and continue”.

On the next page, inform the bank whether you are a U.S. citizen and/or have dual citizenship.

If you are a U.S. citizen, you must enter your Social Security Number.

If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must select your country of citizenship. After that, enter your country of residence and your date of birth. Now click “save and continue” once again.

Now, on the next page, select your student status (whether full time or part time), and inform your year in school. Then, inform whether you are currently employed. 

If so, you must then inform your occupation, as well as your annual income, source of income and monthly housing payment if any.

You may at this point, select whether you want to transfer a balance to your new credit card and/or add a cardholder. Now, click on “save and continue” once again.

On the next page, you will find a full description of the card’s terms and conditions.

Once you have reviewed it check the box to acknowledge you have reviewed it and hit “save and continue” one more time.

The website will then show your information so you can review it.

After reviewing, you can click on “Submit my application”, and you are done!
