Apply for an account
Go to Alliant Bank’s website and run your mouse cursor over the “Personal Services” option at the top of the page. If you are applying from your cell phone, just tap the same option.
This will reveal a dropdown menu where you must select the type of account you would like to open. For this guide, we are going to open a simple checking account.
Once you click on the checking account option in the dropdown menu, you will arrive at the Personal Checking page. There you will see all their different types of checking accounts.

Once you have clicked on that option, the page will reveal all the details of this account. If you conclude that is exactly what you are looking for, you can click on “apply now”.

Filling in the application form to join Alliant Bank

You must also provide your Social Security Number. After that, you must enter your address, and confirm if it is your mailing address.
Then, check “yes” or “no” to inform if you have lived in this address for less than 2 years. Further below you must enter your driver’s license information.
Check the tax status options to inform if you’re subject to backup withholding. Then, scroll further down and inform if this is a joint. Then click on “next”.
You will then have to verify your identity. Follow the on-screen instructions in order to do it so that you can proceed to the next part of the application.
On the next page you will make your opening deposit. Once you have finished this step, your Alliant Bank account is ready for you to join and start using whichever way you like!
