Overstock credit card: how does it work?
The Overstock credit card offers a $30 bonus for new cardholders after they have spent $300 within the first 3 months from account opening.
The card does not carry any ongoing fees and there are also no fees associated with opening an account.
To avoid paying interest and other fees, you must always make on-time payments.
However, if you qualify for special financing offers, it is possible for you to defer the interest payments. The financing offers work in the following fashion.
- If you make a minimum $249 purchase you will pay no interest within 6 months if you pay in full.
- If you make a minimum $499 purchase you will pay no interest within 12 months if you pay in full.
- If you make a minimum $1,499 purchase you will pay no interest within 18 months if you pay in full.
- If you make a minimum $1,999 purchase you will pay no interest within 24 months if you pay in full.
However, it is worth pointing out that if you miss a monthly payment or do not pay off your balance within the set period, you will incur retroactive interest on the entire balance.
This means you will have to pay all of the interest you would have had to pay during the plan.
That is full interest on the original purchase amount. Avoid that by always paying on-time.
