Allegiant World Mastercard®: how does it work?
The Allegiant World Mastercard comes with a $59 annual fee. The card is best for those who stick to Allegiant’s limited routes, purchase vacation packages regularly, and travel with companions.
Further, it offers a sign-up bonus of 15,000 points equal to $150. You can redeem them towards future Allegiant trips after spending $1,000 more within the first 90 days of account opening.
Additionally, it offers ongoing rewards such as 3 points per $1 spent on Allegiant flights, hotels, and car rentals. You’ll also get 2 points per $1 spent on dining, and 1 point per $1 spent on everything else.
Additionally, we call the rewards Allways Rewards, and each point is worth 1 cent toward Allegiant airfare. The value of the points also applies to other travel, such as car rentals, hotel stays, and attractions.
This card does not have any foreign transaction fees. Still, it offers priority boarding, and one free beverage when flying with Allegiant. It also offers World Mastercard benefits which may be available.
However, the card has limited airline footprint and no international flights. It also has no perks such as free checked bags, first-class seats, or elite status.
Furthermore, the annual fee is high for the meager incentives the card offers. While the sign-up bonus is redeemable towards future Allegiant trips, it is paltry compared to other travel cards.
To get value from the Allegiant World Mastercard, you need to frequently travel with Allegiant. You must purchase vacation packages, and have companions.
