Bloomingdale’s American Express® Card: how does it work?
Our Bloomingdale’s American Express® Card review reveals a credit card that provides substantial benefits for current Loyallist members who shop at Bloomingdale’s.
The card offers 3X points at Bloomingdale’s, and 6X points on shoes, cosmetics, and fragrances from Bloomingdale’s.
You also get 3X points on all other purchases, including non-store purchases wherever they accept American Express. This card has no annual fee, making it a cost-effective option for earning rewards.
Also, new cardholders can enjoy a 20% discount as a sign-up bonus offer that can be used multiple times over the course of two days on a total of $1,250 in purchases.
However, this card does not offer 0% APR promotions. The earning potential of the card is excellent, with the reduced amount of time and money shoppers will need to accrue the 5,000 points for a $25 Reward Card.
Additionally, the exclusive benefit available only to Bloomingdale’s cardholders is the Triple Point Days.
You may select two days every year to earn 9 points per dollar spent at Bloomingdale’s on all categories of merchandise, including online purchases.
However, you can’t use these days to purchase products outside of the U.S., store restaurants, and select leased brands.
While the Bloomingdale’s American Express® Card does not offer exclusive discounts, cardholders will still enjoy a signup bonus.
That is, for up to $250 in savings on their immediate purchases, making it a surprisingly well-rounded option.
The card also offers a range of benefits for those who shop at Bloomingdale’s on a regular basis and are willing to be strategic with their timing of purchases.
