How to get your Capital One Walmart Rewards®?

The Capital One Walmart Rewards® credit card gives you up to 5% cash back on Walmart purchases and more. This post will tell you how to apply for it!

After the first 12 months, you still get a 2% cash back reward at Walmart stores. Not to mention restaurants, travel, Walmart & Murphy USA Fuel Stations, and 1% back on all other purchases.

Capital One Walmart Rewards® credit card: how does it work?

The big catch to the Capital One Walmart Rewards® credit card is that the 5% cash back has a specific requirement: for your purchases to be online.

Yes, you still get to shop at Walmart’s physical stores with your card. However, the 5% cash back only applies to physical stores during the first 12 months.

After that, you will get 5% cash back on purchases via Walmart.com. From that point on, all purchases you make at Walmart stores will earn you 2% cash back.

So this card is a powerful savings tool if you are a die-hard online shopper at Walmart.com. If you are looking for better rewards at Walmart’s physical stores, there are other cards better suited to that.

With this card, you also get other benefits such as price protection, which gives you the right to get reimbursed for the price difference of eligible items.

In addition to that, you get an extended warranty of additional 2 years, premier access to sports events and concerts, cell phone insurance, auto rental insurance coverage, and more.
