Merit Platinum Card: how does it work?

The Merit Platinum Card is issued by Horizon Card Services and has a pretty simple structure to it.

You can also enroll for a 7-day risk-free trial with no strings attached. The downside is that you need to link another credit or debit card to your Merit account.

That is because you cannot pay for the monthly or shipping product fees with this card.

While there’s no credit bureau reporting, the card does have some interesting features.

The Merit Platinum Card also offers other benefits such as legal assistance, roadside assistance and a prescription discount plan.

You can also pay your monthly minimum balance at 10% or $25, but the products you’ve purchased will only ship when paid in full.
