To get this credit card, you’ll need to meet Capital One’s approval requirements. First and foremost, you need to be over the age of majority with a valid SSN and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. You’ll also need to have a valid U.S. address. As for credit scores, a 700+ will improve your odds, but annual income, employment status and other financial factors play a determining role as well.
With the VentureOne Rewards, you’ll get unlimited 1.25 miles on every purchase and 5 miles per dollar by booking hotels and rental cars with Capital One Travel. You’ll also have access to a generous welcome offer and a long 0% APR period. The card also offers travel accident insurance, extended warranty, Mastercard benefits, $0 fraud liability and much more.
You can easily redeem your miles through Capital One’s online banking, mobile app or by calling customer service at (877) 383-4802. The bank allows you to redeem your rewards either before or after you make a travel-related purchase. There are other redemption options such as gift cards and non-travel related perks.
