The Alaska Airlines Visa® credit card issued by Bank of America is a great option for anyone who flies on Alaska Airlines with a companion at least once a year. 

The card comes with a $95 annual fee, and you can earn 70,000 bonus miles. Additionally, you can earn a Companion Fare benefit from $122 with a spending requirement of $3,000 (terms apply). 

Besides that, you’ll also receive a free checked bag and priority boarding when paying for the flight with the card.

Also, the card offers a 10% rewards bonus on all miles earned from card purchases if the cardholder has an eligible Bank of America account.

Further, the tiered Alaska Airlines Visa® credit card rewards program awards 3 miles for every $1 you spend on eligible Alaska Airlines purchases.

In addition, you’ll earn 2 miles per $1 spent on eligible gas, cable, streaming services, and local transit. 

Local transit includes ride-share purchases, and 1 mile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

However, the Alaska Airlines Visa® credit card requires good/excellent credit, and its rewards have limited flexibility. 

In addition to earning miles on purchases made with the card, you can also earn miles by flying on Alaska Airlines and qualifying airline partners.
