Without further ado, let’s dive into the application process. Make sure you have all your personal info and documents at hand and let’s get this done.

On American Express’ website, locate the three-line menu at the top left corner of the page and tap it. This will reveal another menu where you must tap the “cards” option.

Once you tap it, the menu will expand downwards. Scroll down to find the “prepaid debit cards” option and tap it.

This will take you to another page where you will see all Serve credit card options. Find the American Express® Serve® Cash Back card and click on it.

On American Express’ main web page, locate the “cards” option at the top of the page, right between “my account” and “banking”. Once you click the “cards” option you will see a dropdown menu.

On that menu, select the “prepaid debit cards” option. This will take you to another page where you will see all Serve credit card options.

Find the American Express® Serve® Cash Back card and click on it.

On the next page, click on the “get started” button. You will see a pop-up window where you can either register the card if you already have it, or open an account.

For this guide, we are going to open an account. On the next page, click on “next” to continue. Then, on the next page, click “next” once again.

After that create a username, enter your email, confirm the email and create a password.

Then hit “next”, and on the next page enter your first and last name, along with your date of birth. Hit “next”.

Now enter your phone number, hit next, enter your zip code, hit next. Then enter your address and hit next once again.

On the next page check if your address is correct and hit “next” again.

After that, enter your Social Security Number and hit “next”. Now you must create a 4-digit ATM PIN. Once you are done with that, click on “next”.

On the next page, to confirm your info is correct, click on “Confirm Information”.

The website will now show you a summary of fees. Take a good look at it and click on “next” to continue. The next page will present you with the terms associated with your account.

Once you have reviewed those, check the first box to confirm you agree.

You may also check the second box if you want to consent to receive automated text messages.

Now hit “submit” and you are done!
