How to apply for a loan at Auto Credit Express
Learn how to apply with Auto Credit Express and get access to multiple lenders and car dealers with flexible payment options.
Based on some preliminary information you submit, this convenient platform connects you to dealers and lenders who are likely to lend you funds.
Car owners may also benefit from the service, which connects them to auto refinancing lenders.
How does Auto Credit Express work?
Auto Credit Express has a network of 1,500 car dealerships and lenders all over the U.S. and Canada, working with both new and used cars.
It helps borrowers find car dealerships and works with them to provide financing through subprime lenders.
On their website, you can fill in and submit a loan request, but keep in mind this company is not a lender. As such, it does not pre-qualify applicants with a soft credit check.
Only after you have submitted your loan request will your information be shared with dealers.
After this happens and you have given your consent to lending partners, they will then pull your credit report.
Some network lenders may first perform a soft pull, while others may perform a hard credit inquiry.
Keep in mind hard inquiries will negatively impact your credit score, although that is only temporary.
You will get a confirmation email as soon as Auto Credit Express finds a dealer able to provide your loan. In general, dealers call applicants.
This may happen immediately, but most commonly, it happens within 24 to 48 hours.
Once you decide to take the offer, you will then have to visit the car dealer to provide additional information.
The dealer will then give you an approval decision, and in case you are approved, you will be informed of the rate and whether they require a down payment.
