With this card you can transfer points from other royalty programs to your Delta airline loyalty program. These points can be converted into Delta SkyMiles. So this card pays off especially well for frequent flyers on Delta.

Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business: how does it work?

The Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business has a $550 annual fee. That is a hefty amount. However, it comes with a number of benefits that justify its high cost.

As an illustration of how easy it is to offset the annual fee, consider you spend $1,000 a month in Delta purchases.

With the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business you would earn 36,000 miles over the course of one year. This would be worth $518.40 if you redeem them for domestic Delta flights.

The card earns 3 miles per dollar on purchases made from Delta. Also, if you book your flights directly with Delta, the card will take into account in-flight purchases, Delta Vacation packages and Sky Club membership and passes.

Cardholders get access to the Delta Sky Club and Amex Centurion airport lounges. The card also offers priority boarding, a credit for Global Entry, one free checked bag per flight and two Sky Club guest passes.

How about bringing a companion with you on a round-trip flight? Using the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business you get an annual companion pass once you renew your membership.

You will only pay for applicable taxes and fees which will not cost you more than $75.

When you sign up for this card you become eligible for a special introductory bonus. Earn 60,000-mile bonus along with 10,000 Medallion(R) Qualification Miles (MQMs) after spending $4,000 within the first 3 months. MQMs are going to help you obtain elite status with Delta.

To help you put this into perspective, to gain a Silver level of elite status (the lowest one) you will need 25,000 MQMs. If you spend at least $30,000 in a year the card rewards you 15,000 MQMs.

Add this to your 10,000 bonus MQMs and you gain Silver Medallion Status.
