No, the Aspire® Cash Back Reward Card is an unsecured credit card. That means you don’t have to worry about putting down a security deposit in order to get a credit limit. While the card has some expensive fees for its category, you can offset the costs by maximizing your rewards.
The Aspire® Cash Back Reward Card has an annual fee that varies between $49 and $175 during the first year of card membership. After that period, the annual fee decreases to $0 and $49 based on your creditworthiness. Starting in the second year, you’ll also have to pay a monthly maintenance fee between $5 and $12,50. There’s a one-time authorized user fee of $19. Plus, a 3% balance transfer fee, $5 or 5% for cash advances, and a 3% foreign transaction fee. Late and returned payments have a fee up to $41.
Yes, the Aspire® Cash Back Reward Card performs a hard pull on all new applications. However, you can pre-qualify for the card before submitting a formal application. The pre-qualification process will not harm your score because it only performs a soft inquiry on your credit history.
