All new Avant Credit Card cardmembers will receive a $300 starting credit line. That does not mean it will remain $300 for the life of your account. Avant periodically reviews your profile and may grant a limit increase if you use your card responsibly and manage to pay your balance on time every month.

To qualify for an Avant Credit Card, you need to be over the age of 18 and a U.S. resident with a valid mailing address. You also need a valid Social Security Number and enough income to cover your credit card bills. Credit score wise, you need at least a fair credit score to become eligible (640+).

With the Avant Credit Card, you’ll have to pay a $39 annual fee. This is one of the few cards in its segment that doesn’t charge a foreign transaction fee, but it has a 3% cash advance fee and a max late fee up to $39.
