As most cards intended for people trying to build or repair their credit scores, the Merrick Bank Double Your Line Platinum Visa card does not offer a welcome bonus or perks. It also does not come with an intro 0% APR period.
The Merrick Bank Double Your Line Platinum Visa card comes with fees that are determined based on your overall creditworthiness. Such fees include a $0 to $75 annual fee, a $0 to $75 set-up fee, and a $0 to $12 additional card fee. The card’s APR is also determined taking into account your overall creditworthiness, and it ranges from 17.45% to 27.70%.
If Merrick Bank does not receive your payment by its due date – which is the date you should be making your payment – it will be considered a late payment. Late payments incur late fees. You should strive to make at least the minimum payment by the due date. Also, making late payments negatively affects your credit score.
If you trust there has been a mistake with your credit card statement, you can write Merrick Bank at Merrick Bank, P.O. Box 9201, Old Bethpage, NY, 11804-9001. Your letter should contain complete information, including your name and account number, the dollar amount of said error, as well as a description of what you believe to be incorrect, and why. In order to have your request accepted, you must contact Merrick Bank within 60 days after the error shows up on your statement, as well as at least 3 business days before an automatic payment is realized. Merrick Bank requires you to notify them about potential errors in writing.
