Blue Business Cash™ Card from American Express: how does it work?

The Blue Business Cash™ Card from American Express credit card does not charge an annual fee. That is every cardholder’s dream, especially for those applying for a  non-luxury card like this one.

Despite not being a luxury credit card, it nonetheless allows you to earn 2% cash back on all eligible purchases.

This is a high rate when compared to other similar cards. The only downside of the cash back reward is that it applies only to the first $50,000 you spend within a calendar year.

Once you have reached that cap, you will earn 1% cash back. In any case, the cash back you have earned is directly deposited into your account.

This means you do not need to wait until you have accumulated a certain amount. The card takes care of it for you.

This card’s most outstanding feature, especially if you are a business owner, is its “Expanded Buying Power” benefit.

With this feature, you can exceed your credit limit up to a certain amount which the issuer determines based on your credit record, payment history, spending habits, and other factors.

However, you must pay this excess portion of your credit limit in full every billing cycle. Not doing so will incur interest and a penalty rate on your entire balance.
