Find the “Credit Cards” option on Bank of America’s main webpage. You can find this option at the top left of the page, sandwiched between “Savings” and “Home Loans”. 

Click on this option to reveal a drop-down menu. From this menu, choose “Cards for Students”.

Next, you will need to scroll down the page to find the BankAmericard® for Students. Once you have found it, click on the “Apply Now” button located next to the card offer to begin the application process.

Fill in your first and last name, as well as your residential address. Enter your phone number (mobile or home) and email address, then click “save and continue”.

On the following page, indicate whether you are a U.S. citizen and/or have dual citizenship. If you are a U.S. citizen, you will need to provide your Social Security Number. 

If you are not a U.S. citizen, select your country of citizenship, followed by your country of residence and date of birth. Click “save and continue”.

Now select your student status (full-time or part-time) and your year in school. Indicate whether you are currently employed, and if so, enter your occupation, annual income, source of income, and monthly housing payment (if applicable).

You will then have the option to transfer a balance to your new credit card and/or add a cardholder. Click “save and continue”.

On the next page, carefully read the terms and conditions of the credit card. Once you have reviewed them, check the box to acknowledge that you have read and understood them, then click “save and continue”.

Review the information you have provided on the next page, then click “Submit my application” to complete the process.
