How to get Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card?
Apply for the Chase Freedom Unlimited® to enjoy the best rewards program for a zero annual fee. This post will show you how the application process works.
When we say that working on your credit card is important and can grant you good offers, this is what we’re talking about.
The Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card has one of the best rewards rates in the credit card market. And the best part is that you don’t have to pay any annual fee to use it. Keep reading this review and you’ll see how it is very much worth it.
- Credit Score: Good/Excellent
- APR: 16.49% to 25.24%, with a 0% intro APR for 15 months, both for purchase and for a balance transfer
- Annual Fee: $0 per year
- Fees: 5% or at least $5 for transfer (3% or at least $5 during the first year); 5% or at least $10 cash advance fee; 3% foreign transaction fee.
- Welcome bonus: earn a $200 cash bonus if you spend at least $500 during the first three months, plus 5% cashback on gas stations in the first year
- Rewards: cashback rates from 1% to 5%. Terms apply.
Chase Freedom Unlimited®: is it a good card?
This card is a gem. If you have good or excellent credit you can apply for it to have excellent rewards rates and high-quality service.
It charges no annual fee or monthly fee. But it does charge a foreign transaction fee, so it may not be the best option to take on your trip abroad.
The best part is the rewards program. The cashback works like this: 5% on travel purchases (as long as you buy them through Chase Ultimate Rewards); 3% at restaurants, and drugstores; 1.5% cashback on everything else.
And during the first year, you’ll get a 5% bonus cashback on gas stations (with a $6,000 spending cap).
As you can see, the basic rate of 1.5% is already way better than many other credit cards. And it never expires! The welcome bonus is also pretty valuable, as you can earn $200 (you have three months to spend at least $300 to earn this bonus).
On top of all of this, you’ll get fraud protection, contactless technology, benefits at Chase partners, and much more.
