The Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card caters to students who have already had the chance to build their credit score for a few years. In order to get this card you must have a credit score of at least 690. However, a higher credit score will increase your chances of being approved for this card.
Even though some cardholders may be offered higher or lower credit limits depending on their credit score, income and other factors, the credit limit for the Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card normally ranges from $500 to $1,500. The reason for such low credit limits resides in the fact that this is a student card, and these cards tend to be issued with lower credit limits.
The Bank of America® Travel Rewards for Students card does not offer trip cancellation insurance. The card also does not cover rental car collision, or other types of travel insurance which other, higher-tier cards may offer.
